🏁 CronZeno How-To: Setting Up Your First Race – Video

New to CronZeno? The app is empty when you first start, but don’t worry—it’s quick and easy to get up and running.

This guide will walk you through setting up your first race using our built-in examples, so you can immediately see how data is collected, processed, and displayed.

Step 1: Accessing the Examples

Before creating your own race, let’s explore the examples to understand the workflow.

  1. Go to the Archive icon and tap the Download button to open a list of examples.
  2. As an example, let’s choose a racetrack: the New York Marathon 2024.
  3. Tap the Racetrack icon. You should then see ‘NY Marathon 2024’ appear in your list.

Step 2: Creating the Race Event

Now that the racetrack is defined, let’s create the actual race event.

  1. Tap the Race icon, then press the ‘+’ button to add a race.
  2. The race is now saved. Next, let’s download a GPX file from the examples list that simulates a run.

Step 3: Reviewing the Data

With a race created and run data added, you can now see the results!

  1. Tap on the race card to navigate through the data and plots.
  2. Review the results per lap and split sector, for each run and athlete.
  3. You can also export the race leaderboard as a PDF file instantly.

That’s it! You’ve successfully set up, run, and analyzed your first race in CronZeno using the example data.
