Video: CronZeno’s GPX Validation

How CronZeno Verifies GPX Tracks

The validity of data is a relevant aspect of activity tracking. To address this, CronZeno includes a GPX validation system designed to detect any modifications to route files.

This video illustrates how the system works. Two GPX files, one original and one modified, are imported into the app to demonstrate the verification process.

In the video, you will see:

  • The Verification Icon: How CronZeno indicates an original GPX file with a green shield icon.
  • Modification Detection: How the app flags a modified file with a red icon and identifies the specific points on the track that were altered.
  • Data Manipulation: A demonstration of how a GPX file can be manually edited to alter data, showing what CronZeno’s system is capable of detecting.

CronZeno’s validation system was created to offer a method for verifying tracking data.
